What is the fund structure?

Anchor & Knots is a maritime investment fund headquartered in Cyprus, established under the RAIF structure, in compliance with Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) regulations.

Anchor & Knots seeks to become an industry leader by adding value through four levers:

  • Manage efficiently the technical services required for vessel operationalization with extensive technical know-how.
  • Optimize trade routes and cargo handling with best-in-class ship operations, chartering, and commercial management.
  • Leverage a deep industry network to access commercial opportunities and liaise with brokers, traders, owners and charterers, etc.
  • Implement a multifaceted ESG strategy focused on crew-centric initiatives, safety, and emissions-cutting technologies.

A&K I, its inception fund, will have a target size of $10M and will focus on acquiring and operationalizing second-hand Handysize vessels.
